S7200 Microwin , Modbus problem

siemens_user_1 Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Hi everyone I am facing difficulties with the modbus masterconnection between S7- 200 and an external GC (which sends data on the modbus lines in 32 bit-floating point formatas a slave . Some data is received after using Modbus comunication blocks ( MBUS_CTRL ,MBUS_MSG ) The problem appears when it comes to reading these values, I am not sure how I should read these 32 bit values when Modbus sends them in 8 Bit packages .(stored in VB0 ~ VB8 ) . I am now using a code identical to the one in chaspter 12 of siemens S7200 manual for testing but the values i receive do not make sense . Has anyone had this problem before or can give me an advice? I attach the screenshots of the code and project . Regards

dingenskirchen Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Hello, as I notice: the MBUS_MSG needs the start register ADDR = 4xxxx the numbers of register COUNT = 2 for REAL and DataPtr = &VB0 (VD0 = REAL) or is it the slave, which can transfer one byte per request only?
