PCS7 6.0 SP2 HF1--> WinCC 6.0 SP3a --> Tag Logging--> LINK ARCHIVE Not Working

Gosai Posts: 61 Rating: (0)	Dear Sir, As I have mentioned in subjest line, LINK ARCHIVE option of the tag logging doesn't link the .mdf files. I have given a another PCloacation for the Tag Loggiing-->Archive configuration-->Fast ( and SLOW) ->backup Configuration. While in runtime; I click LINK ARCHIVE--> open a selection box--> shows .mdf of network PC (where I m storing)--> click open--> nothing happening. Now, I tried with COPY-->PASTE to common archiving folder of the project---> it works and show in runtime......also allow me to use DISCONNET FROM ARCHIVE option of thr tag logging..... I don't y it doesn't allow to use LINK ARCHIVE option.....!! Waiting for suggections.......

April Posts: 1776 Rating: (95)	Hi, as in the WinCC information system described the MDF and LDF files must be stored locally. See "How to link an Archive Backup" chapter "Requirement"
