How to access IM151-7 from a remote location ?

para35127 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I am using a DP master (S7400 with ethernet CP) with several slaves (IM151) and two intelligent slaves (IM151-7). I can access to the master from my office trough a wireless or ethernet connection, but I can't access to the two intelligent slaves in the same way. Is it possible to take advantage of the CP mounted on the master to access them in some way or without a dedicated hardware I can access to the intelligent slaves only from the local connector with my USB-PC adapter ? Thanks.

In this link http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/2383206 you can have an idea of the procedure to befollowed. In the following link, http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/584459 you will see the requirements (what CPU, what FW, ...) In the settings of the DP port of the IM151-7 I would activate the "test and monitoring" functions.
