Hello Vikash Jain if you only need to exhange small amount of data (less than about 160 Bytes), the easiest way would be via usage of GET/PUT blocks and below are a couple of examples (the setup in theIM151-8 PN/DP is the same as any other S7-300 PN CPU): How do you program communication blocks FB14 "GET" and FB15 "PUT" for data exchange in the S7 program of an S7-300 CPU? Sample Program: S7 Communication with blocks FB14 ("GET") und FB15 ("PUT") of the CPU 317-2PN/DP If you need to exchange more data,I'd useBSEND/BRECVand below is an example for it: How do you program communication blocks FB12 "BSEND" and FB13 "BRCV" for data exchange in the S7 program of an S7-300 CPU? As analternative, you could also use USEND/URCV and an example for it is below: How do you program communication blocks FB8 "USEND" and FB9 "URCV" for data exchange on the S7-300? If you really must (or want to) go for the OPEN IE communication (e.g.TSEND, TRCV, TCONetc.)you'll find TCP and ISO-on-TCP examples for it below: How do you program the communication blocks FB63 "TSEND", FB64 "TRCV", FB65 "TCON" and FB66 "TDISCON" in order to use the TCP protocol? Hello Vikash Jain little additional info: New wersion ET200S and CPU Pn/DP can exchange by profinet as master (CPU) - slave (IM151-8) same Profibus |

I was having the same problem. It works when you load the configuration to both plc. |
