Its a programing method used to program Siemens Drives Binector - you can consider as similar to binary. It has signal either 1 or 0. You can connect it to operate different switches and blocks in Free Blocks.. Connector - It is same as Analog value. Whereever you want to connect any perticular value, you can use connectors.. This is simple and for more please refer Manual as suggested by KSN Best Regards, Devesh Vithani

For example, you want to stop drive after certain speed.. Use comparator, compare speed using connector of actual speed, and output of connector bit can be used to stop the drive...(refer function diagram No 735-limiter from Compendium) I hope this will help you to understand it easily..
