MM1234 Posts: 270 Rating: (53)	Hello everyone, I've been messing around with WinCC flexible 2008 a bit so far and I got to one thing regarding languages I would like to ask if someone encountered or know how to do, perhaps know some example how to do this. I hope I didn't miss it when I tried search for it. So, here's the thing. I know you can change stuff like texts or graphics when you set in your project multiple languages. But is there some (simple) way to be able to use different objects/their properties that are not stuff like text of it...? The case example that passed to my mind is a simple appliaction that would measure weight of some substrate in a tank. There would be maximum and minimumlevels and whole thingwould be shown on a simple bar.Now, presumably, the application would be supposed to be able to switch betweenlocalization for USA(english)and Europe(for example french). So, how would you do it so in one language the scale of the bar would be in pounds and for other it would be in kilos? In consideration comes one more thing, that the actual value in kilos is different to the values of pounds, so it would require some rescaling, but is there even possibility somehow set different scales of an object for different languages? Or does one need some scripting for it? Or use multiple objects with layers? I don't know, perhaps the idea of requirement such thing is dull, but it just came on my mind and I can't shake it off since.

Yanto Posts: 54 Rating: (2)	Hi, probably easiest to set the limits as 0-100% have a tag which selects the measurement type, pounds, litres, gallons e.t.c. have another tag for max value. do the maths in the program according to the values supplied
