TP170 Touch Panel totaly out of calibration. Cant access the control button

Raanan Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	The touch panel does not allow access to the start-up buttons and we cant reach the CONTROL button to perform recalibration after start-up. Any touch on the panel only access the left part of the screen as if it is malfunctioning or badly out of calibration. Any idea how we can overide this issue? Maybe a total factory reset or someting - if any - procedure is availlable? Thanks

I made it to do a back transfer and CF card reading so I have the HMI project on hand. I can upgrade now to new panel TP-177 so I think it would be the best path. Those panels are not too expensive (Relatively). That would be the quickest path to solve the issue, if I disregard 21 days for supply of new panel.. Thanks

Cut the panel's energy and Open the back cover of panelthen find touch system's flat cable (its look like a tape cassette strip with brown colour) then clean this cable with a contact spray or a piece of moisturized cotton. then re-energize the panel and wait for the OS loading. After that cut the energy again and fix touch cable, give energy for the last. Now try your touch calibration. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dear Raanan, just be careful. if you don't have original backup of HMI TP170 then it is not possible to load image file ofTP170 to any other HMI as you said about TP-177.
