Hello chip,I hope you understand very well that Even if you use the P22. P22 means, -2 channels for optical connections. This allows you to make a bus ring as in your drawing. -2 galvanically isolated RS485 ports (sharing the same bus). This gives you flexibility in joining somehow big segments in a single OLM. In OLMs with one RS485 port, you come over the distance but then find yourself limited to RS485 standards regarding number of nodes per segment. So, don't be surprised if you ever get the chance to see couple of OLMs in a single panel/location for the same bus to make more than a segment in a single location. As I can see, you have one ET200M per location/OLM then why would you buy the P22 or G22? P is used for plastic and G is used for glass. So, you can use plastic fiber cables if you want but 400m is a bit risky with plastic OLMs. The OLM manual (Page 10) says you can go for 400m with plastic OLMs (cable dependent). I recommend to use glass OLMs and glass cables. In addition to what ABNhas said, I hope that you haven't forgotten the CP1613 and red. connect license for both servers. Best regards. H-H |
