dstudio Bronze Member Joined: 8/24/2006 Last visit: 5/31/2024 Posts: 148 Rating: (9)	Hi, sorry sure is not clear, The scl-source is over 1900 lines and I want to compile to have a funcion visible in awl. This is not possible I think because scl source is too long...is it possible to divide in differents networks, all is only possible to divide scl source in 2 scl source (so the total lenght is less)? Thank you.

The S7-1200 doesn't suport SCL / AWL. Makes no sence try to convert it. At least, yet. Despite of it, you can divide your SCL code in several different blocks (if it is possible).

smiffy Platinum Expert Joined: 1/17/2007 Last visit: 11/20/2025 Posts: 1561 Rating: (540)	I am guessing, but I think dstudio is wanting to open a block in STL that was originally written in SCL. So he/she has taken some SCL, compiled it and then opened the resultant block in the STL editor. I have done this in the past, and dstudio is correct, the STL is all in one large network and thus the STL editor / tools do not work well with such a large network. To split it into smaller networks requires manual editing of the STL code. I know of no way that you can get the SCL compiler to produce STL code that is broken into a number of smaller networks - it always puts it into one large network.
