It's hectic to convert a STEP 7 Micro/WIN v4 project to STEP 7 v10.5 project and again from STEP 7 v10.5 project to STEP 7 v11 project. For examplewhile converting a huge project from v4 to v10.5 there are 1600 errors and again from v10.5 to v11 there are 3300 errors . I wonder whatdoubles the errors when v10.5 project is converted into v11 project when v11 is a upgraded version of v10.5 Desperately waiting to have a software to convert STEP 7 Micro/WIN v4 project to STEP 7 v11 project.

But I am afraid this kind of "universal" tool will not be released. Even S7-200 to S7-1200 convertor now is hidden from here. Most probably because S7-200 series will be cancel soon.COmparing with the Step5 and Step7 converter is the same story - a lot of manual job in order to fix all the errors and warnings. A have tons of programs ready to use for S7200, it would be the biggest waste of time if I should be obliged to re-write them from the beginning I really think Siemens is playing a wrong policy on micro automations...

Vippi this would be a much serious reason to provide a S7200/S71200 converter REALLY working!! A have tons of programs ready to use for S7200, it would be the biggest waste of time if I should be obliged to re-write them from the beginning I really think Siemens is playing a wrong policy on micro automations... Right now there is no powerful S7-200 to S7-1200 convertor and it will be available soon and let's keep our fingers crossed.
