EM 231 related question

am_sober Posts: 9 Rating: (1)	Dear all, can i ask a EM 231 related questions? its kinda silly one.. but i didnt know and i've tried to search answers thru all the manuals and thru this forum but i dont really get it... i am now using S7-200 CPU 226 with 6 EM231 my question are.. what are the reading that shud reflect on AIW0-AIW46? are they suppose to have a value of zeros? or some other values? pls refer to my attachment. I got it from the status chart in Micro/WIN. All the AI channel arent connect to anything. I just link all the EMs to CPU and power it up just to see if everything is ok.. so is what im getting asp my attachment is normal? if not what can i do to make it normal? what does it mean btw? sorry for the inconvenience. Greg_E Posts: 88 Rating: (2)	Hi all, In order to connect RTD sensors you should wire it as mentioned in the manual. and the data you will reacive depends on the configuration you set for example: Temp units(C,F), scaling bipolar(-32767-32767) unipolar(0-32767), which kind of PT****(100,1000,10000), 2,3,4 wire. But the data you reacive anyway are divided by 10 and it's equals to the temperature you measure. Hope it helped you, Best Regards, Greg.
