Compile OS system error

JeroenB Posts: 15 Rating: (2)	Hi, I,m working on a S7 project with 2 300 CPU's connected to 1 WinCC system. I use the AS-OS integration option from WinCC in step 7 Manager. So i had no OS compiling problems when i was working with the first PLC. Then i started the programmation for the second one and just before the end of the compilation i receive this message: Compile OS (302:305) a system error occured Nice thing to know is that there is nothing about an error in the compilation log. So it seems that the compilation went well, but the error occurs and i'm afraid that it will affect my OS project without knowing it. Any suggestions? thnks JeroenB

PWS Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I also have a project, this time a PCS7 v6.1 (no SP), which gives this error: "Compile OS (302:305) A System Error has occurred". I can find no other information about the error, not in the logs, not on the support pages, and only this one thread in the forum. The error does not occur on some old backups of the project. But we have made engineering changes since then, so we can't easily go back. I have tried "Save As (with reorganisation)" but the save-as doesn't complete (it just drops back to the SIMATIC Manager after a while). The WinCC project is huge (lots of project functions etc) so I don't really want to create a new OS. Can you describe exactly what a 302:305 error means? Maybe that will suggest how to avoid it in future.

Kev00000000001 Posts: 7 Rating: (2)	For anyone having the same problem; If you have an OS client reference without an OS basis (template) this error will occur. To fix the problem you can either delete the reference or assign to an existing basis.
