lesko Posts: 76 Rating: (1)	Hello! I have a problem when I want to monitor variables with VAT. When I create it and I try to monitor variables I get the message: "The address cannot be monitored". Can someone explain me why I get this message.

You should transfer them to a DB or the M-range. All other variables can be monitored if they are available in the CPU.

I created an FB but I don't know if I have to call it (like you should when you are programming in C) in some other part of the program like OB1. This maybe a trivial question but I am new in programming PLC's.

Hi Check the attachment as part of STEP7 online manual: peripheral outpusts can not be monitored in a table but they can be modified. peripheral inputs can be monitored in a table but they can not be modified (Force).
