How to configure a PROFINET net with CP343-1 IT (GX11)

jlcapilla Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody!! I'd liketo generate a PROFINET net. I've got a CP343-1 IT (GX11). The problem is that i can't create itwhen I configure the Hardware in HWConfig. The only net I can create is Industrial Ethernet but not PROFINET. What's the problem with the CP? I've updated the device's firmware tov.2.1.5.

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 3052 Rating: (1062)	Hello jlcapilla I'm afraid to say that your CP343-1GX11 is too old anddoes NOTsupport Profinet I/O controller funtionality (nor can it be used as Profinet I/O device). The only solution is to buy a newer CPand below is a link that lists whichCP supports what: What differences exist in the 300-series Industrial Ethernet CPs? I hope this helps
