Problem routing with Scout

anxiao Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Hello, I'v encountered the following problem：PG is connected to CPU315-2 PN/DP via Ethernet.The CPU315-2 PN/DP is connected to Sinamics S120 with CU320 via Profibus.When I'v tried to connect Scout to do some changes to inverter, connection could not be established.I could download the HW configuration and NetPro configuration to the CPU, and there is not fault on BF. The hardware: CPU 315-2 PN/DP 6ES7315-2EH13-0AB0 V2.5 CU320: 6SL3040-0MA00-0AA1 CF card: 6SL3054-0CE01-1AA0 performance 1 V2.4.1.6 The Software: Step 7 V5.5 Scout: V4.2. sp1 Attachment Screenshots.pdf (480 Downloads)

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	You are routing the Ethernet network traffic through the S7 controller to Profibus connected CU320. The project needs to know how to route communications appropriately: which Ethernet card on the PG to use, etc.. In the PG/PC settings, select correct Ethernet card, used for communications for the PG,and most important part make sure the routing checkbox is selected as shown in the attached picture. You will know the routing is setup and activated after the PG/PC Ethernet connection has a thick yellow line behind it (also shown in the picture). Attachment NetPro.jpg (528 Downloads)
