Steven_Hoang Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Dears, I'm using CPU315-2PN/DP - 2EH14 - 0AB0 and in SIMANTIC Manager I configured like as in the attachment. but I can not download to CPU. Do I need insert the a MMC (Memory Micro Card) because I dont insert it yet? And in the Configuration HW, do we need to insert CP343-1 (Communication Port)? Deleted User Posts: 767 Rating: (69)	Hello, 1-you have to insert a memorym card for S7-300 systems that have micro memory slot. (If you look into your CPU to the Diagnostic buffer, you will see this requirement.) 2-If you need an extra Ethernet port you can insert, CP343-1 series. But normally you already have one port on CPU. But do not forget this two port doesnot mean two seperate port. This ports works like a switch, you can configureoneIP Address.

The CPU does not have any Load Memory, you download a project to the Load Memory (MMC) and when CPU starts up it copies all necessary objects to its Work memory. When you have no MMC, you can not download anything. You need MMC. It is recommended to use 512 Kb MMC. Best regards, Wizard

Sindhu@keas Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hello, we are using the same plc CPU315-2PN/DP-2EH14-0ABO,in the hardware catalog V3.2 was available.the configuration was done with this version.later wen i tried to dowload the ahrdware configuration,i came across the error"system data cannot be loaded.on checking the details, there was a mismatch in the firmware (OFFLINE:V3.2 AND ONLINE V3.2.6).So i upgraded to v.3.2.6.Now on reading this thread i feel MMC card could be a problem.what im using is 128KB card(6ES7 953-8LG20-0AA0).Kindly help to proceed further.very urgent
