about connecting MM440 by using drive monitor and digitus usb / serial converter

volcanoos Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	ı ve been trying to connect MM440 by using drive monitor software and digitus usb/serial converter. com port of converter and drive monitor is same but cant. is there anybody who use usb / serial converter ? or u have any suggesiton about that issue ?

Gary.Hare Posts: 101 Rating: (8)	Providing you have the correct com port set up and matching baud rates you should be fine but Some USB - serial adapters just do not work with drivemonitor no matter what you do. TRENT_TECH Experienced Member Joined: 11/30/2007 Last visit: 9/6/2024 Posts: 59 Rating: (0)	I've been using a usb/serial adapter and haven't had any issues yet. But I did get one that had special drivers for Windows 7. I've been using drivemonitor and Starter with it.

Soni Mukesh Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Dear, This is the problem related to your driver & port issue, please install usb to serial driver & after that you need to go on setting for drive monitor & change the port which is using the usb to serial connector port or you can change it from manage in my computer & check your port no.
