Backups are without any symbol information, variable names and comments, pretty useles for technician who need to find a problem in the machine Regards, Marcjan

RangO1972 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Make a copy with all the comments, symbols, values of DB, etc. is not simple :( Why? The biggest problem is the DB!!!! if you copy the db from on-line to off line..... if the layouts are not identical are lost all the information, all symbols and this is something unpleasant :) since 1995 looks to be solved the problem but apparently not a priority. The only effective solution I found is what I explained. It offers the following advantages: 1. The backup contains everything. is downloaded to the PLC the PLC is like before 2. has no comment and you can leave all customers "dangerous" without problems

Best regards, Hristo Mihalev is another way... but it has some disadvantages 1. You need to create a project 2. must show the way to get to the CPU Suppose you want to send an update to the customer. the customer has a PG but not an experienced programmer. with my guide was able to create a perfect backup without difficulty. normally the problem is not "to do"!!! but "to help" :)
