Hello KG*, I think I'm gonna make it easy for you. Attached to this reply is a zip-file containing a S7-project. This project contains two FB's. Each FB diagnoses the LED-status (and a few extra's) of a CPU.One FB is for a 'profibus'-CPU, the other is for a 'Profinet'-CPU. If desired, you canedit and combine them. Greetz, Tim. Dear Tim de Bruin, Please see the following attachment. It contains 300 R hardware configuration and a seperate S7Program which has the logic for 400H CPU led status. Hello KG*, Two things: 1. It seems you made a slight error in the sample program you send. The Data Record output in FC811 (NW2) is now written to P#DB44.DBX 0.0 BYTE 104. I think it should be written to P#DB444.DBX 0.0 BYTE 104 since DB44 does not exist in your sample program. 2. In NW3 is a switch to route the correct LED-status to the correct part of the DB. The 'hex-ID' usedfor rack0 is B#16#F8, the 'hex-ID' used for rack1 is B#16#F9. In a program I made a few years ago, I used B#16#F8 and B#16#F0 to determine rack0, any other value had to mean the LED-status was from rack1. For now, I don't have much time to help you further.
