DriveMonitor isn't recognizing the firmware.

iBruno Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, Trying to set up an USS online connection, DriveMon show the device but it doesn'trecognize the firmware.I checked the USS settings and they match with 6SE7087-6JP50 (Operating Instructions). Is there other way to import its database? Or I should update the firmware first? Thanks in advance, Bruno

Then you can check which versions of firmware your Drivemonitor can support by creating a blank parameter file and selecting a firmware version to see which ones are available in your version. Regards, Graeme EDIT: Your USS settings must be correct, otherwise no device would be found at all, it is simply a firmware issue

Is your drive a compact plus given that you are using the compact plus operating instructions (from your first post) Better yet, please give us the part number of your drive. The reason I am asking is that I have seen this when there is a technology card plugged into the electronics box (But this point is moot if you do actually have a compact plus). Check that P53 is at least equal to 0111. Alternatively, parameters may have been locked, please check that with P60 = 7 that you can read all parameters using the OP1S. If the parameters are locked, you need to enter the key into P358.1 and P358.2. This would only be available from the original programmer. Regards, Graeme
