Saravana kumar Platinum Member Joined: 2/6/2009 Last visit: 1/6/2026 Posts: 940 Rating: (119)	Hi, There are so many ways to simulate the value, 1. if you have WinCC, Create an Internal tag (type:word/Float) and connect it to trend with with respect to time and then use WinCC tag Simulator (Start=> Simatic => WinCC => Tools) for simulating the internal tag. 2. Via Program: Connect a Memory variable (MWxx) to the Scaling FC input instead the actual Analog input and then simulate the Memory vaiable via VAT, Connect the Scaling FC output to the WinCC Trend Window / WinCC flexible Window. 3.If you have CFC: Use the trend System in the CFC. Go Online => Select the varible in the Chart (Temperature Sensor input) =>Right Click => insert into trend Display => Go to View => Open Trend Windows

Ton Verra Gold Member Joined: 4/20/2007 Last visit: 1/2/2026 Posts: 731 Rating: (43)	If the sensor isn't one of the possibilities mentioned in your analog input properties in the hardware, you could try to make a curve. a set resistance will be a set temperature. the more points you put in the curve, the more accurate the temperature will be.

Hii Aret, no, i dont have the hardware sensor, i just want to make input simulation, but its input charactiristic should be like temperature sensor (exponential). how to make that for S7-300? my plan is after make that simuation input, then it will be scalled by FC105. after that the output from FC105 will be compared with preset value as alarm limit. well i use it for scada simulation.
