(0) i want to control a AC Drive(Yaskawa A1000) through PLC(S7 1200).can u give a step by step procedure to configure it in the Plc......which blocks have to use for Drive configuration & why???????

Please doublecheck! RS485 with Profinet is NOT possible! May be, it is Profibus? |

Please have a look at Yaskawa homepage. Usually you will find the GDS files that you need ("Profibus Driver") and an small example. |

what about USS_PORT Block of the s7 1200 plc............where this block will use &when & why?????? |

USS is not a special SIMATIC and not only for Siemens Inverters. If Yaskawa supports USS protocol you can use it. What you need is RS485 Module for S7-1200.
