For the first question, Please read the 2 attached documents and look at simplified diagram for NAMUR switches/sensors in thislink.For sure 5 mins with Google will give you better info.

For the second question, The answer is no.

The BERO card needs voltage to sense 1 state while the NAMUR card needs current to sense the 1 state.
