radekg Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am looking for help about Siemens SM326 module. I am trying to configure hardware for the following set: CPU315F-2DP, CP340x2, SM322x1, IM360/361, SM326 DI24xDC24VCx2, SM326 DOxDC24V/2A using Step 7 5.3SP3 + package DS5.4 + F-config 5.5SP1 I have no problem in configuring any of the above mentioned modules except the last one. In standard mode I get the following errors: Diagnostic buffer of module DO10xDC24V/2A Order No./ Description Component Version 6ES7 326-2BF01-0AB0 Hardware 3 - - - Firmware V 2.0.7 Rack: 1 Slot: 6 Event 1 of 1: Event ID 16# F580:8006 Module not Assigned Parameters Internal error, Incoming event In safety mode what I get is: Diagnostic buffer of module DO10xDC24V/2A Order No./ Description Component Version 6ES7 326-2BF01-0AB0 Hardware 3 - - - Firmware V 2.0.7 Rack: 1 Slot: 6 Event 1 of 3: Event ID 16# F980:8031 Loss of Communication External error, Incoming event Event 2 of 3: Event ID 16# F980:0201 Monitoring time for data message frame exceeded External error, Incoming event Event 3 of 3: Event ID 16# F580:8006 Module not Assigned Parameters Internal error, Incoming event I have simplified my program so that it is generally blank (not to influence hardware). I get the same errors on three other SM326 DO10xDC24V/2A module instances so the problem should not be with the hardware. I have looked on any parameters that I could set in the modules: - in standard mode the bottom switches are set all to 0/ in safety mode they are set to the address - diagnostic interrupt: does not influence the error - disable light test: does not influence the error Simplifying PLC to CPU315F-2DP + SM326 DO10xDC24V/2A (no other modules installed) does not solve the problem. Does anyone have any idea/experience what should I do in this case? Thanks and regards Radek

Where are you calling the failsafe software, look if all the timing is given the right way. Download the Hardware after compiling and also the software after compiling. Which parameters do you have in your F-CALL.

The module is wired as stated in documentation. 0V pins: 20, 22, 37; +24V pins: 17, 21,40. There are no messages about missing auxiliary or load voltage > Where are you calling the failsafe software, look if all the timing is given the right way. > Which parameters do you have in your F-CALL. I reworked the program to fit that from "Functional Example no. AS-FE-I-011-V10-EN. OB35 calls FCALL every 50ms Max. cycle time of the F-runtime in ms: 200 Module F-monitoring time: 2500ms > Download the Hardware after compiling and also the software after compiling. The Hardware is compiled and downloaded Generally the safety or standard program is running but I do not know what these three messages (F580:8006, F980:8031, F980:0201) mean as they seem to be generated during module startup or any time I reload the software. None of these messages is generated by the other safety input modules SM326-1BK01-0AB0. All three messages are found in the SM326 module buffer not in CPU buffer and all I can find about these messages is that they have generated incoming events, no outgoing events - I do not know if they passed or still exist, how important they are etc. Regards Radek

But the SF Led remained on (red) and the SAFE led remained off. Did you get any solution ?? Please, your help is important to me ... I can send you my Step7 file if you want .. Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Dear Radek, For Berg, I think I have found the problem: Hi Berg, I think I have found the problem, for the older distributed safety software the dipswitches on the back of the module where the addresses, by the newer software it are the dipswitch settings from the software. When I look in the hardware configuration, I see the F-DI were both are the same (40/40), but for the F-DO there are different addresses, Hardware-Address=80, Software-Address=10 {look in the hardware configuration on the "F-Parameters" and then "DIP Switch setting (9...0)"}. This address couldn't be changed on the Software (because this is an older module which doesn't have the opportunity to be changed). So you have to take out the F-DO out of the system and place the Dipswitches on 0000001010 You have chosen to passivate the hole F-Block, it is also possible to passivate a channel. With SP3 there is a FB219 where you can depassivate a hole Run Time Group at once (less F-code). Please answer me back if it is that please consider the other addresses.... Maybe thats also the problem for your project?

The problem is the SF LED is always in red for all the safety modules. IM 153-2 is working ok. Look on the properties of the F-Modules, there is a time programmed that is standard on 2500 mS, have you changed that one to a lower value, when yes, please place back on 2500 mS ? On the properties of the CPU (which one are you using) is on the TAB "Startup" a parameter called "Transfer of parameters to modules [100ms]" which is standard on 100, please place that one on 1000. Now try again to startup the CPU.... when not strting now then check the suggestions that are under here. Please consider that there have to be programmed at least "1" F-DI or F-DO of each card to get Profisafe working. When there is no F-I/O used on a F-card then the card will not go in the safe condition. Also consider that the Hardware have to be compiled and loaded and the Failsafe software also... When there is changed a lot in the Failsafe parameters, then please switch of the power of the F-cards so that they start with the messages that are not old. O ja, where did you call the F_CALL (if it is Distributed Safety), please check if the time of the call is ok, so the calling of the block must be programmed on at least the 1/2 time...

Ok, I think this could be help, but I have to explain to my customers WHY, how they can calculate this time when they do changes to theirs systems, maybe if they expand the plants.
