When I try to open a project, wincc always show this message: "No or invalid Project Context, ASO cannot work correct" And the project is impossible to open. Do you know why? Thanks! Regards. Hi all, i am facing a similar problem. i am using PCS 7, with 2 simatic PC station , the configuration is as follows Multiproject-- HMI- simatic pc station 1 --wincc appl--os1 - simatic pc staion 2-- wincc appl ref- os 2 when i am trying to download the os in wincc appl ref ,initially its showing closing wincc project, then copying project, and after that opening project, and during opeing it showing an error "The project could not be opened, No or invalid project context, ASO cannot work correct". Regards Satish Dearsatish.arg I Faced same problem if you are using VMware it will be a problem but if you are using a real hardware then try to re-instal network card

Jan_bar Posts: 15 Rating: (2)	This may help: Enable Guest account, set password, add to Administrator,Simatic HMI group. Make this on ES and OS computer with same settings. Another change may help: On OS computer add user Guest to OS\WinCC server, Security\Logins Hope that this may help

I have also power dba tages in tcunit i think coz of this i am facing this issue. I am able to open black/empty project but my project is not working. Even created 4-5 projects all are working without power dba tags but when i incluse power control dba tags its crashing. Even i have same version software installed in server with license.

Silent Bob Posts: 836 Rating: (100)	Seems to be a problem with your DBA stuff.... Since I haven't this piece of software available at the moment I can't try it out. I would suggest to check the installation, the versions, maybe try a new instalaltion of the software. If this is not helping you either made a mistake with some settings / configuration of DBA tags, or there is some special problem which has to be checked on the project itself...
