SFC14 and SFC 15 In Simantic manager

van dinh nhat Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, I am using profibus to connect master PLC: CPU325, DP with distributed I/O with module ET200M. I read in Sitrain that we can you SFC14 and SFC15 for read and write 3 bytes data or more than 4 bytes data ( 1, 2 or 4 bytes data can be access directly). However, I get a result W#8090 when i use SFC14 for reading data. I think maybe i have problem with data consistent. I found in strain that in DB slave properties we can configure the consistency area in adrress/ ID tab. But in my S7 software, my DP slave properties doesn't have address/ID tab, the two only tabs are: general and operating parameters. I am using S7 simatic manager scr 2010 for win s7 64bit. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Marko Bursic Posts: 1410 Rating: (154)	you didn't configure properly HW config, or you don't call sfc15 in rigt way. Make a screenshot of HW config (click on slave to see modules) and program where SFC15 is called.

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	He, whats up? No need for SFC14. You must read first analog input with "L PIW 256" and second analog input with "L PIW 258" SFC14 is not neccessary here and also not possible.

Marko Bursic Posts: 1410 Rating: (154)	you will need sfc15 and 14 when interfacing to some 3rd party hardware that has possibility to configure various lenght of data and also mode of consistency (you will see when the time will come). For ET200 you don't need nothing about this, work the same as they are mounted in central rack.

Where and when do you need peripheral addressing?
