Hello shakeri; If you mean Triple Modular Redundancy such as proposed by manufactures of Triconex and HIMA PLCs, Siemens has no CPUs that follow this type of configuration. Siemens can achieve SIL 3/4 and 2oo3 voting through its Safety PLCs (F-Systems), but the architecture and programming are different in nature. F-systems uses a FMR (FlexibleModular Redundancy) instead of a TMR configuration to achieve the same safety standards. The issuehas been discussed a few times on the forum, for example here: /tf/WW/en/Posts/45309 And you will find information on Siemens'PCS 7 platform and FMRhere: SIMATIC PCS 7 Takes you beyond the limits! |
