Regards Hello, It should work. You need to install Step 7 professional or Step 7 + PLC SIM. Please tell us which Simatic panel you are using and what are versions of your Simatic software (WinCC flex. and Step 7). Did you make your software integrated in Step7 program?

minipeddy Posts: 64 Rating: (0)	I can simulate the program i simatic as normal. cannot get the Runtime in Winn cc to comunicate. is there any interface setup there ? If i connect my laptop to the cpu 312 the runtime works great. Funny.... see installed software attached. Attachment div.jpg (357 Downloads)

Click on "Blocks" in the left hand side navigator, and check if the communication setting is set to PLCSIM. It appears in the lower right hand side. and can be changed in set PG/PC interface. Download the project as if you download it to a physical real CPU and wait until virtual CPU goes to RUN mode. Now Open WinCC flexible integrated project. Click on "Start Runtime System" command button in the tool bar of WinCC flexible. Hope this helps.

minipeddy Posts: 64 Rating: (0)	Simulator opened. Interface ok. Uploded proj. Starting flexible, runtime with simulator flexible. (nothings happens) check the program is running in cfc (googles). (nothing happens in flexible)

How do I point WinCC flexible advanced to look at the PLCSIM? The documentation in WinCC does not contain this information.
