programming of OBs in simatic manager

umair984 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi All, im new to simatic S7 programming, i want to know that how we program different OBs like OB81 (power supply error), OB86 (rack failure) and OB100 (warm restart). i saw in the manual and in the software there are few temp variables given in these OBs, what is the purpose of these temp variables? what they denote? and how they are used in programming? Do all the OBs programmed in the same manner. what is time of day interrupt and time delay interrupt. a detailed reply is requested, for which will be very thankful to you. Kind Regards, Umair Ahmed

Concentrate on application which you have in your hand. Keeping those empty OBs will prevent CPU to enter stop mode if something goes wrong. Also you can do thishttp://tinyurl.com/cw2qd9j

System Software for S7-300/400 System and Standard Functions Volume 1 and Volume 2 To master how to use them efficiently ,I suggest reading each case carefully,test your findings,search the forum for answer of your problems and finally ask here if they are not solved.
