Structure vs UDT in Data Block

Swagato Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	dear all, would you please explain me the difference between using of "structure" and "UDT" in Data block. In DB some data are in structure.....what would be the difference if those data would be in an UDT and call it from that DB.. thanks in advance swagata Hello, It is a bit explained in section "27.3.3 Complex Data Types " of the following manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/45531107 In STEP 7, you can combine complex and elementary data types to create your own "user-defined" data type.
