Current state of configuration: PC is connected through PC adapter v5.1 to S7 CPU-400. Program is made with SIMATIC Manager and is working properly. Project: I created new single project with WinCC v7.0 SP3 and added some binary tags under MPI (which is configured to PC adapter(MPI)). Then I opened up Graphics Designer, created circle, under Colors right clicked on Background color, Dynamic dialog, selected one of tags for expression, selected Boolean Data Type, replaced colors for ON and OFF state. Problem: when I click on runtime mode, circle simply won't change it's color, but instead stay gray. I've tried to change several other settings, but without any luck. It simply doesn't work and I have no idea why. Did I miss something? Where's the trick?

I forgot to upload channel diagnosis screenshots, you can find them in this attachment. If there is anything else, please let me know. Thanks.

Hello krneki; Have a look at the attached picture, it shows the different possibilites of dynamization of a picture element, and the symbol attached to each: Taken from the SIMATIC HMI WinCC V7.0 System descriptionmanual. As stated in the extract, the easiest way to make a picture dynamic is to attach it to a tag value, so when you right-click on the property you want to modify(thw whiote lightbulb) choose "TAG" and alink the correct tag to the property. Make sure the green lightbulb symbol is apprent in the object property's window (make it similar to the Height property shown in the attachment). This is the simplest and less complicated of the dynamization setups in WinCC. Make it work, then start checking the other dynamization options so you can eventually choose one that you are comfortable with and gives you results. The WinCC online help will give you details on how to setupo direct connections and dynamic dialogs. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Possibly you have already done but it is better to be sure, did you deactivate "Global Color Scheme" property under "Effects"? |
