Discrete alarm sub-folder

I have a question about alarms folder and sub-folder: after creating a project in WIN-CC flexible 2008 SP3, I added the alarms message. The alarms are all discrete, so I created a *.CSV file which I then uploaded into the project. Now, for a better understanding, I want to separate alarms into different sub-folder. I created them, but I noticed that I cannot select all the alarms and simply drag & drop them from the main folder (discrete alarms) into the sub-one, but I can do once by once, which is a little upsetting when you have hundreds of them... How can I add all the alarms in different folder easily? Or even specify that into the ].CSV file? Thanks in advance. Denis.

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello Cimant, You can select all alarm in the main folder and copy these alarm in another folder. You select the first alarm, you press your shift button on your keyboard. Then you click on the last alarm. You have marked all alarms. Then you click with the right mouse on these alarm. A menu is opened. Now you choose "copy" in this menu. You choose another folder for the alarms. Then you click with the right mouse on the empty folder. A menu is opened. Now you choose "paste" in this menu. All alarms are inserted in another folder. Tweety

Reading your answer I feel a little embarassed: it was just so easy that I shouldn't even put the question... However I tried several times with combination of arrows, uppercase, pg up an down to select ites in wincc flexible and it was unsuccesful, but never with the mouse. Thanks a lot for the answer. I understand how to select items like alarme and variables and move/copy/paste them. Now, is there a way to put alarms or variables directly into a sub-folder bi typing something in a *.CSV files? Thanks a lot. Denis

It works ok but I was wandering if there is a way to import messages or even variables into the discrete alarms sub-folder: here an exaple. In this particular case I have divide all discrete alarme in 3 sub-folder. In each I'd like to put the alarms from a different CPU tha I have designed in the project, let's call them CPU1, CPU2 and CPU3. I created a CSV file which I called Alarms.CSV In Alarms.CSV there are alarms linked to an array variable in the CPU1, other alarms linked to an array variable in the CPU2 and others linked to another array variable in the CPU3. When I import Alarms.CSV into the WINCC project, all alarms are listed in the main folder. Is there a way to import groups of messages into different sub-folders directly during the importation process? For example by typing in the ].CSV file the name of the folder or something like that?
