Ethernet communication between S7-200 PLC's

Mohammed Kamran Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear All, With reference to the above mentioned subject, please note that I need some help to establish communication settings and configuration and procedure for ethernet communication between S7-200 Plc's (One master and 6 slave plc's). Also find attached the network architecture dwg for the same. Also kindly send me a sample program as per my requirement. Your kind help in this regard will be highly appreciated. But please note that after aftermakingcertain corrections in ethernet configurations and settings in the program and downloading,I can ping and recieve reply from all the 6 nos S7-200 local PLC's when I connect through the ethernet switch installed at the S7-200 Master PLC, but when I connect my PG directly to the S7-200 Master PLCthrough MPI / PPI connection / portand try to view the ethernet connection ON LINE I am not able see any communication between the master and the local PLC's. Also when I put the master and local plcs in auto mode and load the process values on the HMI (third party) installed at the S7-200 Master PLC, the local PLC doenot respond and the HMI of local PLC shows errors and system doesnot work in auto mode. Please note that the master PLC is assigned as Local PLC and the Local PLC's (6 nos) with which the master is communicating is assigned as server in the network settings of the plc program. Also in the settings of master PLC it is only assigned the read option, write option has not been selected. Appreciate your quick response in this regard. Thanks and Regards, Kamran.
