Different colours on texts in Alarm View

dande74 Posts: 101 Rating: (11)	Is it possible to have different colours on warnigs and errors (let's say yellow text on warnings and red text on errors) in the same Alarm View. Thought Alarm Classes was my soloution but either it it is not, or I don't understand how to use Alarm Classes. Regards -- Daniel

GJohn Posts: 112 Rating: (10)	Alarm Classes should provide the solution you require, it will give you different background colours, not text colours. There are four different colours for each alarm type: activated, activated/deactivated, activated/acknowledged, activated/deactivated/acknowledged, make sure you choose the colour you want for each option.

Jeebs Posts: 218 Rating: (28)	Hey Dande I figure you have created alarm-texts using the 'Discrete Alarms'-window. Also that you have configured for each text the trigger bit (and tag) and you have configured the alarms as alarms and the warnings as warnings. Now in your AlarmClasses window you select the colors for the alarms and warnings. For your testing make sure that for Warning and Alarm: C color and CD color differ. Now on your alarm Window check the boxes for both errors and warnings In Alarms Settings check the box: Use alarm class colors Try these settings and let us know if it works.....

C-3PO Bronze Member Joined: 5/30/2014 Last visit: 12/1/2025 Posts: 178 Rating: (22)	In TIA portal v16 it is a little different: to show colors on a panel, go to "Runtime settings / Alarms / General" and check "Alarm class colors" (see also this post). settings for classes are in "HMI alarms" / tab „Alarm Classes“. There are four types of alarm states (for Incoming and Outgoing, which means "activated" or "deactivated"), for clarification see this post.
