send email via TM mail

MarjanMM Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	Hello! I have tryed to send email via TM mail inside our company and it works (with my company mail server). Now I need to do this with other mail server such as inbox.com. I have opened an email account and enabled the POP/SMPT. I have send email with my Visual Basic test script (port 25) and it works. If I try to send email with inbox via TM_MAIL it doesent work. I get an error 8012-Error receiving the data. What is the problem now? Regards

I get an error 8012-Error receiving the data. What is the problem now? Regards Are you manually keying in the ip address for inbox.com or using inbox.com ? I do not know if the plc does dns lookups. If that is not the problem, contact Support Requestand see if they can help further.

jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Dear, In the screenshot, I see that the DWORD named ADDR_MAIL_SERVER= 0. But your mail server has address 89.107.226.195. These are 4 bytes that you must encode in that DWORD For 89.107.226.195 ==> DW#16# 59 6B E2 C3 (hex representation of the IP address). That IP id of course not in the local LAN. Therefore the PLC must use a router. And the IP of the router must be specified in the PLC Ethernet addresses under "Use Router".

Thank you, I want to ask one more things is it possible to send I0.0 and Q0.0 situation with email or not. Best Regards Harun
