Customized Reports using WinCC Advanced V11 - TP700

Dylan101 Posts: 29 Rating: (1)	Hi All First time working with the TP700 and so far so good, not a bad little display. The problem that i am having is getting the process report setup. Basically the PLC/HMI are running a mixing process. I am trying to set it up to log the process variables, as well as batch details, and then generate a report once it is complete or on the click of a button. I have tried the report stuff that is part of the WinCC but with no luck. I would like a report that displays the batch details, recipe details (excluding the parameters that are 0) and finally a Trend of specified machine variables. I was hoping to use a use something like Excel, were you create a template and then pass all the information to Excel and save it as the Batch Number. Is any of this possible and where would you start?????

Printing with SIMATIC Comfort Panels Or you can save your tags about a script in a text file. you can openthis fileand further work with Excel How can you write data to a file or read data from a file by means of a script on a Comfort Panel with SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal)? Dylan101 Posts: 29 Rating: (1)	Hey Tweety shot for the reply, though i think we may have crossed lines i have read the post that you linked but that does not resolve my issue. basically i would like to setup a report template, this will run at the end of every batch automatically. the report should have a front page containing the batch detail, ie, Batch Number, Product Name, Item Number, Start Time and End Time. The next page should contain the information for the recipe that was run, ie, Product X's details. Finally the last page or two should contain Trends of key process variables for the batch, ie, Blade Speed, Product Temperature. This Trend should start and end as per the Batch Start and End Times. does sound possible?

E-Mail Notification with the SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panels You can use the function "ExportDataRecords" for your recipes. You can use the function "Copylog" for your logs. You can integrate your panel into your local network. How do you integrate an HMI operator panel into a local network? Then you can save copy your logs and datarecords in this shared folder of your PC. Now you can open these files with excel. Tweety

Dylan101 Posts: 29 Rating: (1)	Hi Tweety Unfortunately that is not a option, the HMI will not be part of a network, it has to be standalone. I need everything to happen on the HMI, it does not have to be a Excel but I do need to print a batch report as per the above spec and it would be beneficial to store it on the SD for future reference, as i understand it this can be done as a PDF which is fine. Are there any options to complete the custom report on the HMI, Batch details, Recipe Details and Trends?

Don Jasper Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi Tweety, I have the same problem as per mention by the user of this forum, but in my case I am using TIA Portal V12, as for my understanding there is an option in the TIA portal V12 that you can create a report generation format from the PC-Station, my question is that,can the features in the TIA Portal capable of recording reports from Batch number of Process sequence and time started and end time and also user name and Equipment name?If it is possible could you give me an example project that utilizes the data needed for my report?
