Comunications S7-315 2DP and S7-1212

AdamSVK Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have ProfiBus network between S7-315 2DP and S7-1212. S7-315 is control system of steam boiler and S7-1212 provides ensure water for boiler, also S7-1212 reading data from S7-315 via ProfiBus by function GET (s7-comunication). 1212 have master communication module SM-1243-5. This case occurs three time with the same S7 system, but only on one system exchange of data (i am reading data from DB) via GET runs. Contractor of steam boiler says, that S7-315 (when the data exchange runs) is set as slave and other 315 are set as master. When i created ProfiBus network between 315-1212, on-line diagnostic show, that all three 315 are set as master (active in ring). I don't know where is problem? Why system set as slave comunicate via GET (about help is GET master-master comunication)? How i get data from DB of 315 to 1212? Thank you. Nelliyan randy Posts: 461 Rating: (29)	Hi Adam, Have u configured the CPU 315 as slave in the operating mode of DP properties.. If ur using cpu 1212c as master ( By using the cm master module ) then u must have to configure the 315 as slave.. C the image in which the cpu 315 was configured as slave, which shows the cm module in cpu 1212c which was configured as its respective master.. So u better check it.. Hope it helps..
