Problem in Communication with S7300 with PC Internal

Sureshsai Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	This is suresh, Have u worked on Station Configurator, using standard Ethernet card & communicating with S7300 plc, setting the PG/PC to S7online toPC internal. Whenever i configure the Netpro & download the IE General goes to Stop Mode, & not able to run if even after re booting the pc. Netpro does notshow any error,when i compile it. Canu plz help me out. Suresh.

In Simatic Net - Configuration Console put in the CPCardName-General-putthemodeofthemode-CONFIGURIREDMODEandselecttheplaceof card in StationConfiguration( index for example 2, or 5) 3. In Simatic maneger open Your project : locprj - it must be (Iamnotsureforthis-butthisisthedefaultdirectory) located inthisdirectoryC:\ProgramFile\ Siemens\Step7\Projects\locprj. Seeattachment. 4. Now open the Hardware ConfighireYoucanseetheOPCserverandYourcard.Pushonlysaveandcompile. and close. 5.OpeninOPCServer-ConnectionsinSimaticManager.HereYoudefinetheconnectionsandpushsaveandcompile. 6. Open the Station Configurator - For the moment You must see only the Network Card. Put in the First place OPC Server. 7. restart the computer. 8. Open Simatic ManagerselectthePCStationandmakedownload. P.S. I had the same problem lat week.Forme thereasonissomewhereinthesequences step.BecauseItriedwithdefferentversionofstep7 (start with 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4,SimaticNet2001,2005and2006)anddifferentcomputerbutthesamehardware. When i downloaded , the IE General displays "Error Restarting the Module. When checked in the diagnostics it displays Index 3: The component is sending a negative S7 response. TF service : 28. Did u face the same problem, while configuring the PC Station. Plz let me know if you have any other ideas. Thanking you in Advance. Have a Great Day Cheers Suresh
