Zein Bronze Member Joined: 5/27/2009 Last visit: 8/27/2025 Posts: 122 Rating: (8)	Good afternoon, i am triying to connect mobile panel 6AV6645-0DC01-0AX0 with a CPU317TD-2DP through CP343-1 , in fact i am following one of siemens tutorial, but it suppouse when the HW has been saved and compiled STEP7 must generate a DB with this symbolic name "F00256_Mobile277Failsafe_IO" But this DB is not generated and i dont know why, i though it was because i was missing the MP277F_Library but i have made some test using another CPU models with Profinet Interface Integratedand this F-I/O DB its only generated when i connect the pannel in the integrated interface profinet but not when i connect the pannel in the CP 343-1 Advanced. Do you know how can be manage the communication trougha CP 343-1? Any help is welcome... Thank u

Eyezerman19 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	General MP277F software requirements: The MP277F does come with a "Mobile Panel 277 IWLAN Safety Software" CD that you need to install a library component on. The library shows up in the Step7 V5.5 as MP277F_IWLAN after it is installed.This gives you the FBs for the MP277F device itself (FB161, FB162, FB163). You also need the Distributed Safety V5.4 + SP5 library installed too (this is a separately licensed add-on component for Step7). The TIA portal has a similar Advanced Safety Add-oncomponent if you're using that version of Step7. For you specific question, in the HW Config for a MP277F device failsafe IO bytes (10 input and 8 output bytes) are created with the device. The name will include that address where those bytes are located. In the submodule listing there will be "Mobile277Failsafe_IO" name and this is the actual Profisafe IO. There is also a 2nd failsafe object created in the project called F00xxx_Mobile277Failsafe. This will be a higher DB number like DB550 and should be of type FB272, it should automatically be added to the symbol table when the HW Config is compiled. This is the Profisafe data block for MP277F. It contains the same type of data as one for a failsafe input or output module (QBAD, PASS_OUT, ACK_REI, etc.) Hope this helps.

The thing is that I have 2 panels and just one IODB is generated automatically (the one is attached to the CPU Profinet Interface), have you used MP277F through CP343-1 Advanced or any other CP? I wanted to know why the IO DB is not automatically generated when the pannel its connected to the CP343-1 and in any case if there is another way to make this IO DB by hand or if i am missing any configuration in the CP343-1. Zein Bronze Member Joined: 5/27/2009 Last visit: 8/27/2025 Posts: 122 Rating: (8)	After doing some test with HW Configuration and reading CPs characteristics in catalog...now i think its not possible toestablish profisafe communication using CP343-1 Advanced, thats why the F-I/O DB was not generated. I tried using a CPU 416F-2 + CP 443-1 and with this configurationthe DB was automatically generated just like with CPU 317F-2 PN/DP.
