I'm looking for a multichannel 24V to TTL optocouler board but it is not easy to find... 5V regulator connected to pulse train? Simple is to purchase a signal conditioner than does the conversion for you. Cheap but more time is a simple LMxxx regulator and some resistors, etc., or maybe a 555 timer circuit could do it

The square wave is distorted at high speeds. Optocoupler is the best solution but I've no time to design and solder a 8 channel optocoupled board. I know that are comercially available for a few €uros but I cannot find it ...

I agree wit you,optocoupler is a good solution I've worked with it and it dosen't need a compicated circuit but there is a problem ;optocoupler's input is 3 volt,mybe you could use a resistor to decrease 24 volt to 3 volt

Saurius Posts: 28 Rating: (0)	You are suggesting a voltaje divider. You need two resistances in each 24V output. This slution has an important drawback, PLC output and motor driver input are coupled and you need to be extremely cautious choosing the value of both resistances in order to keep current under PLC output and motor driver input nominal values......or you will destroy pulse input of motor driver..
