I am getting Relay condition status on icd file's address Relay is communication on IEC 61850 protocol over TCP/IP Ethernet port Control.XCBR1.Pos.stVal on this address i am getting 4 status like On Off Intermediate Bad- State Now i have to map the same on PCS7 by DBA tool. i have created Enumeration tags like Enumeration l Value CB_Open >>> 1 CB_Close >>> 2 CB_Intermediate>>3 CB_BAD >>> 4 now i am using the same address Control.XCBR1.Pos.stVal on @PC_FEEDER/1 face plate for displaying the status of breaker but it is showing Intermediate on any actual status of the breaker.

Chandra Tiwari Posts: 247 Rating: (2)	hi Silent Bob, I have Schneider Relay P143 which is communication with PCS7 on IEC61850 over TCP/IP. I am mapping the ICD file of that relay on Power Control DBA tool and updating the Face plates of PCS7 OS. I am able to read the values like measumenents, IED status and also able to give the command to relay. Now I have an address on relay which is having 4 multiple status like Open, Close, Bad- condition and intermediate. These values had internally mapped in that relay/ICD file like Open=1, Close=2, Bad-Condition=3, Intermediate=0 And this address is enum type structure. I have to display this status in my PCS7 WinCC face plate @PC_FEEDER/1 (under power control typicals screen) I mapped the same but it is shpowing value 0 (i.e. intermediate state) the tag qiality i m getting in WINCC tag database is 20 and process value is 0. I thing its not getting any value on tage database.

Silent Bob Posts: 836 Rating: (100)	Hi, according to the wincc online help the quality code 16#20 means: no value It seems there is no connection from wincc to the related DB in the controller. How is the connection state of wincc? Is the rest working?

Chandra Tiwari Posts: 247 Rating: (2)	Hi silent Bob, Actually i am using Power DBA Tool (SIEMENS DBA AS to OS Compilation Utility) a siemens software for IEC61850 and other protection devices. In that tool DBA after adding the icd file and selecting the AS objects it creates the data base in WINCC. Data is updating also, but i am not getting the status of Circuit breaker. Is there any issue from relay side??

Chandra Tiwari Posts: 247 Rating: (2)	Hi Silent Bob, I called to Schneider for this issue they said the values are updating on IEC browser it means relay is OK and sending the values to SIEMENS SCADA only mapping in DBA is the main issue. please help...
