OK, I shall help you out. Upgrading firmware is a little tricky. You have to upgrade firmware and language pack one by one. make sure your control supply is intact throughout the execution, any interupption in the power supply will result in destroying that unit. refer the link... download the zip file, unzip itfirst. https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?query=Pac3200&func=cslib.cssearch&content=adsearch%2Fadsearch.aspx&lang=en&siteid=csius&objaction=cssearch&searchinprim=&nodeid99= Secindly, you have to load powerconfig in your PC from the below link:- https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?query=powerconfig&func=cslib.cssearch&content=adsearch%2Fadsearch.aspx&lang=en&siteid=csius&objaction=cssearch&searchinprim=&nodeid99= DO the IP address of the PAC meter and communicate it locally through an Ethernet cable. Once PAC started communicating with Powerconfig.. follow the below step ( refer pic attached) Device TAB--- Update--- Device Firmware. Hi, Yes, you have to disconnect the same. Do factory reset and then firmware updation. |

I have also observed a malfunctioning in PAC device that it shows voltages even when there is no voltages at input. . |
