time synchronization on S7-1200 CPU

Damayanti Posts: 148 Rating: (3)	Dear Pegaia Sir, I want to do time synchronization on S7-1200 CPU. Master clock is providing IRIG-B signal for time synchronization. In TIA V11, how to configure this signal for time synchronization? Is any additional hardware(converter) is required? please help. Warm regards, Damayanti

Warm regards, Damayanti HI, I think i may possible if you purchase that recommended convertor to connect with 1200 PLC. This is some thing not related with industrial automation product. In 1200 PLC we have 1kHz reading inputs but the siganal from IRIG-B is having some Sine waves i think so , so our plc don't consider this analog waves. Can u tell your application????

As per your requirement how much HSC input you requires? and compare this with CPU specification if it not suits you have to go for Specail function modules no other go
