I do this with an analog sensor and a PI controller. So far I manage this fine, but I'm stuck with the next step. I would switch the compressor like a carousel. The compressor is sent ON to the 1st, and must go OFF 1st. example: Compressor 1 and 2 are ON Pressure drops, compressor 3 comes on. Pressure rises, compressor 1 turns off. Pressure drops, compressor 4 comes on. Pressure rises, compressor 2 goes out. Can anybody give me a hint (or a programm) to make this carousel switch? Attachment 4_Compres.zip (632 Downloads)

Add 1 to Int (2). Press. rises, stop co. 1. Press drops, Int = 2, Co. 3 starts. Add 1 to int. (3) Press. rises, stop co. 2. Press drops, Int = 3, Co. 4 starts. Move 0 to int. (0) Press. rises, stop co. 3. Press drops, Int = 2, Co. 1 starts. Add 1 to int. (1) etc. I hope you get what I mean..

Betel Posts: 1690 Rating: (584)	Hello Toeternietoe, from the answers before you get some ideas... ...but remember that your cirkuit "4_Compres.lsc" shows an other way as that in your question? Look the file "DEMO_Up_down_step_controller (0BA5).lsc" at the attachment to get a solution of your question - it use the chronological order of the outputs to controll them... If you need to use the working time of the compressors (to compensate different working times) the other file give you an opinion to solve that - of cause it is only for 3 outputs, but you can modifiy this... My program startert every time al the compressors are stopt the an other compressor as first. I tried to do as in my definition, a program, but I did not get out. I even had no idea. Now I see you program, I know how it can. In itself not as difficult as you know. But that's often. Thank you. Sorry, but Google helps my to translate......

Betel Posts: 1690 Rating: (584)	Hello Toeternietoe, in addition to my answer yesterday and to controll my circuit "DEMO_Up_down_step_controller (0BA5).lsc" with the aim of your cirkuit "4_Compres.lsc" i present you my circuit "DEMO_Up_down_step_maker (0BA5).lsc". The combination of both is the file "DEMO_Up_down_solution_V1 (0BA5).lsc". I am not sure, but maybe it can give contitions witch results a wrong number of active outputs? So i have build an other version of controlling the outputs ---> File "DEMO_Up_down_solution_V2 (0BA5).lsc"...Now the number of active threshold triggers are equal to the number of active outputs.
