@shish Posts: 291 Rating: (6)	Dear All, I am facing a problem while executing my OB81. I did some programming in OB81 to get the Power Supply status (attached codes). When i try to get online, I get a message in my status bar "The statements are not being processed" Kindly suggest a solution. Saravana kumar Platinum Member Joined: 2/6/2009 Last visit: 9/26/2025 Posts: 940 Rating: (119)	Hi, OB 81 is a Power Supply error interrrupt Organisation Block, Which is executed only during the occurance of the Error. So you won't be able to see the running of your logic like OB1. But nothink to worry, your logic will be executed during the Power Supply Fault. If you want to check the your logic, copy the logic into the OB1 and test it for correctness. After testing delete it from the OB1.

Reg, Ashish Hello, OB81 is only called when there is a comming error or when it is clear.When you have the problem and after that you download the program you may not get any bit active.Bit activated when you live an error occur both error for "comming codes" and "sensing failure codes" are compared.CPU only executes the OB81 once occuring plus when it is clear.It is not like OB1. It won't execute continusoly during the presence of the Error. Try to clear the error and recreated it, this time your logic should be executed

Hello, Check the point here: Battery error with the S7-400: OB81 is not called QUESTION: Why isn't the OB81 called although the battery is empty or has been taken out? ANSWER: You are using an S7-400. You have taken out the battery or it is empty, but the OB81 is not called. Background: In the S7-400 the OB81 is called in the case of battery failure only if the battery check is activated with the BATT.INDIC switch. If you want to change the battery, it is best to set the BATT.INDIC switch purposely to OFF, in order to suppress the calling of an OB81 in this case. The event "At least one backup battery of central controller is empty" (16#21, BATTF) is only active when one of the batteries fails (in the case of redundant backup batteries). Now, if the other battery fails too, the event does not occur again. Only a complete failure of the backup batteries leads to OB81 with the event "Backup power supply of central controller empty/removed" (16#22, BAF). do you use S7 400H? Best regards Hamid Hosseini
