OverCurrent tripping as External fault logic in Sinamcs G120 drive

sparten Posts: 205 Rating: (11)	Respected sir, i am using sinamcs G120 Drive with PM240 CU 240E-2 for my app. i have created overcurrent tripping logic for that parameter setting as follow: P2106=r20083.0, P20082=r53.3, P20081=160, p20080=1 P2170=187 P2171=1000ms P305=187 Problem with this setting is that whenever i power on drive it give me External fault(F07860) tripping... what should i do to avoid this unnecessary External fault(F07860) during power on of drive???

Vijay Hi Could you try to scale P0640 to the trip value you need in terms of Amps and set P0290=1 for trip Regards, Vijay Setting of P640 and P290 will only reduce frequency - it will only trip if Drive and Motor are 1:1 rating so 290=1 is setting for Trip is for inverter Loading Regards, Devesh Vithani
