jimmi_swe Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am working with SINUMERIK 840D controller and trying to do some operations with synchronized action. My question is: if there is any standard mapping between PLC and NC (mapping of inputs and outputs), how to read a specific signal from PLC in part program? for instance: if i want to read the signal of the chip conveyor (A36.3), how shold i write it in NC part program? thank you for your help! /Jimmi

Please help me!

No this is to be programmed in the NC if you want to read an Input of the PLC into the NC If you want to read an output in the NC you must write in the PLC the outout on a virtual quick input of the NCK and then in the NC read with §A_IN [] but this stands everything in to the manual Post 2
