Hoist Application

In general I used to suggest the G120 Drives with PM250 for Hoist application in this case i not able to find PM250 for 150Kw. If I need go with G130 or S120 please helpme. Thanks in Advance. Technology Team Platinum Expert Joined: 10/11/2006 Last visit: 12/22/2025 Posts: 6062 Rating: (828)	Hello Aruljothi, yes you can use G130, but then you have to use a brake chopper and you cannot feed back the energy when driving in generating operation. That's why I suggested S120 with SLM or ALM.
