Thanks for the instruction , I tried it , Its working .

Another Thing :

Afterwards , I wrote the undermentioned script :

Sub VBFunction_1()

If HmiRuntime.SmartTags(INT1)=23 Then
HmiRuntime.SmartTags(INT2).write 9
End If

End Sub

You must be seeing " . write " instruction . On compiling It is throwing error :
Variable 'write' is not defined in line 9 , column 31

The issue is , The same code is running on another system ( No Compiling Error )with same specifications of windows and Siemens Software .

I am confused .

Can you make out the reason ?

same code : running well on one system but on another one giving compiling error

Dear Enia ,

That means , there are more people facing the same issues .

I found out one thing in relation to it ( FROM MY POINTOF SCENARIO):


The Machine on which , The code is working is an fresh newly installed system with all the Siemens Softwares like Simatic TIA PORTAL V11 , Simatic Wincc TIA PORTAL V11 .

And the Machine on which Its not working is : having the same Windows and Same software ,
The only Difference is : It is running inside a VMWARE , version 3 build 203739

Then I tried one tricky thing ,
I made the image of that system in which The code is running well in Simatic TIA V11 and installed the same on a seperate system .

You know surprisingly what came out : The instruction which was working in original PC was not working in this sytem .

Conclusion ( As per Me) : VMWARE doesn't support all the Scada functionsfor Siemens ( For Other Scada's need to explore )

Good morning,

I re-open this post as it seems to get closer to my request for help.

I would need to set one bit of an internal variable, given the status of one integer of a plc variable using Vb Script.

I searched on internet but i didn't find a solution.

The sequence, written very simply, in that:

If Zone_Select=1 Then

          Zone_Active=True

Zone_Select = Integer PLC variable

Zone_Active = Bit internal variable

I try with all ways using TIA PORTAL instruction but I can not do this.
