i have a OP17 and i want to back it up i have connected it with the serial cable and it looks like it communicates but when i select (back up) and (select project and reciepes) it asks for a file name, i put in C:\panel.psr and .psb but it keeps coming up with FILE OPEN ERROR. i cannot get it to save the back up.

does anyone know what the file should be saved as.

just tried the extension and it still didnt work lol. i tried C:\panel*.psr, C:\panel.psr and i used psb too.

Here is a little more info: i am using prosave version 1.1, it seems to connect ok, when im on the home screen i press F2 for back up, then F4 for Project and recipes, it then gave me a message at the bottom saying: (backup file:), this is were i put in the file names etc. it the retreats back to the home page and says (file open error, press any key to continue). a so i keep trying different file names with no luck.
